Consider the pros and cons of Buddhism not having a god. Would you say that it is less of a religion with the absence of idol worship? Are they better or worse off without higher being of power?

I think that Buddhism is still a valid religion even without a god because they all believe and focus on attaining a similar goal of enlightenment and nirvana. Without any idols clouding up their minds, they wont lose track of the true meaning of their religion and its customs.
ReplyDeleteI also belive that Buddhism is not less of a religion even though they do not have a god. Having a powerful being would make it harder for them to attain an inner peace. They are better off without a god. Since they are without a god, their journey can only be made if they have complete harmony within themselves.
