Buddhism... A religion without a god.

Consider the pros and cons of Buddhism not having a god. Would you say that it is less of a religion with the absence of idol worship? Are they better or worse off without higher being of power?

  1. I think that Buddhism is still a valid religion even without a god because they all believe and focus on attaining a similar goal of enlightenment and nirvana. Without any idols clouding up their minds, they wont lose track of the true meaning of their religion and its customs.

  2. I also belive that Buddhism is not less of a religion even though they do not have a god. Having a powerful being would make it harder for them to attain an inner peace. They are better off without a god. Since they are without a god, their journey can only be made if they have complete harmony within themselves.
